A successful printing project starts with the concept and acknowledgment of the possibilities and technical imperatives of the printer.
Project management
The design office and its seven specialists in graphic arts oversee the technical preparation and proper execution of the work. The project heads coordinate the different steps for ordering raw materials, as well as the involvement of specialised partners. They are the link between the different production processes, to permit us to offer a complete range of services and to guarantee quality, flexibility, creativity and respect of deadlines.
Pre-press
Preparation and inspection of your files, proofreading, correction of spelling and semantics, formatting, image touch-ups, management of colours, creation of press proofs and preparation of printing plates… are all operations done during the pre-press phase. These steps require great precision so that the other links in the graphics chain take place under optimal conditions.

Finishing
Cutting, folding, assembly, stapling, sewing and binding, as well as wrapping, packing, addressing, routing…
A broad range of very sophisticated operations. For certain binding and preparation activities, Atar relies on professional and enthusiastic partners. Mastery is also knowing how to surround oneself with the best specialists.

Logistics and shipping
Immediately or in a few days, to one or several destinations, here or beyond Geneva, we arrange the transport of your printed products, relying on our delivery vehicles or by calling upon professional transport companies.

The quality control processes are respected at all levels, and tested on a daily basis to ensure monitoring and continuous improvement.
Since 2007, Atar has been certified ISO PSO 12647. It involves an industrial process which describes the procedures of implementation, testing and control of the different steps of print production, calling upon several ISO norms.
